• 1944 – the Commission for Teaching in the Instytut Naftowy in Krosno proposed the bases for teaching in the firs school in new Poland after the 2^ndWW (people involved: Baranowski, Waliduda, Józef Wojnar, Henryk Górka and many others),
• 7^th  January 1945 – the firs two-year school for oil-exploiting technicians placed in Dom Kultury Górnika Naftowca, Kolejowa 1,
• 29^th  July 1947- the school named Gimnazjum Przemysłu Kopalnictwa Naftowego was established in Krosno by the Department of Szkolenia Zawodowego in the Ministry for Industry and Trade, the headquarters was placed inBuczka Street in “Dom nad Stawkiem”, Kazimierz Pękalski was set as a first headmaster of this school,
• 2^nd -4^th  August 1947 – the first exams to the school took place,
• 1^st September 1947 – the beginning of school year in  Gimnazjum Przemysłu Kopalnictwa Naftowego,
• 1^st September 1950 – the named of the school is changed for Techikum Przemysłu Naftowego and the vocational school Zasadnicza Szkoła Przemysłu Naftowego is established. The new building for school was started in 11 Kolejowa Street,
• 1^st September 1952 – Maksymilian Mojak is established as a headmaster of the school,
• June 1952 – first matura exam takes place and the first technicians for drilling and oil exploitation graduate from the school,
• 1^st September 1952 – the beginning of schoolyear takes place in the new schoolbuilding inKolejowa Street,
• 15^th April 1965 – the beginning of the build of a new school building in 41WojskaPolskiego Street (nowBohaterów Westerplatte Street)
• 31^st October 1967 – an opening of the new school building is celebrated, the schoolname is changed into Technikum Górnictwa Naftowego,
• 1^st September 1970 – a start of a new school – Zasadnicza Szkoła Przemysłu Gazowniczego,
• 1^st September 1977 – schools become joined into one, named Zespół SZkół Zawodowych Ministerstwa Górnictwa I Energetyki,
• 1971-1981 – sport successes in football (1973), in skiing (Jan Murdzek, Władysław Grysztar), the school is one of the sport leaders inPoland, which is thanks to Jan Baran,
• 1^st September 1983 – a new class opens – administration,
• 1^st September 1988 – a change of name into Zespół Szkół Zawodowych Polskiego Górnictwa Naftowego I Gazownictwa,
• 1st September 1997 – the school celebrates 50th anniversary of its existance,
• 1^st September 1999 – school goes under supervision of town authorities,
• 1^st September 2002 – change of name into Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych im. Ignacego Łukasiewicza, new educational branches are offered,
• June 2007 – 35^th anniversary of existence of HDK PCK Club is celebrated,
• September 2007 – 65^th anniversary of school’s existence is celebrated,
• May 2008 – 1^st place in the project Lekcja Samorządowa organized by Krosno’s authorities,
• 5^th April 2010 – a sudden & unexpected Tadeusz Wiewiórski’s death – the headmaster of school,
• August 2010 – Gabriela Szmyd Korona becomes a headmaster of “Naftowka”,
• September 2011 – Joanna Kubit becomes a new headmaster of “Naftowka”. She has been in charge since that time.
